At jo Leo Bridal we offer the most beautiful and exclusive gowns in the area. We are located in the charming fairytale-esque beach town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, an extremely popular wedding destination. Many of our Brides are able to select their venue and Dream Dress in one visit. We offer a beautiful upscale atmosphere in which our Brides will enjoy a private appointment with exclusive use of our boutique. If you have chosen your dress already then shopping for your dream dress may be quick and easy, hooray! There is the possibility, however, the dress you had your heart set on won’t end up being “the one” and that’s okay! Don’t get discouraged! How many times have you stepped into a dressing room to try on that amazing outfit only to be…disappointed. Shopping for literally one of the most important outfits of your life is really no different. Many times Brides come in picturing a specific style and fall in love with a gown that is completely different than they imagined. Our best advice, keep calm and trust our knowledgable Bridal Stylist, your dream dress is waiting to find you.

First things first, we suggest having your venue booked or selected. This will allow you to shop for your dress while picturing yourself at your venue and will be helpful in picking a dress that will be suitable for the setting. For example, is it a winter wedding? If so you may want to look for a long sleeve dress. Is it an outdoor wedding? If so you may want to avoid dresses with extremely long trains. We highly recommend that you start shopping for your dress 12 months in advance. Our dresses are all custom made to each Bride’s specifications and sometimes can take up to 9 months to be completed. In addition there is shipping time from the designer to jo Leo as most of our designers are in Europe. We also recommend allowing another month or two for alterations, if they are needed, as seamstresses are often booked out and may not be able to accommodate you immediately.

  • Absolutely, we have gowns in stock that you can take home with you the same day as your appointment. Most gowns in stock are going to be a size 10 or 12.
  • BRIDAL APPOINTMENT ($50) : Booking Fee Reserves the entire Shop for Exclusive use of the Bride in addition to a maximum of 4  guests. Booking Fee applied to purchase price of gown. Only one Booking Fee will be applied to purchase.
Cancellations / No Show Policy: All changes or cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the scheduled Appointment (date & time). Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the Booking Fee.
  • We are by Appointment Only,  visit our BOOK AN APPOINTMENT page on our website. Each appointment is tailored specifically to the Bride and her vision. Our Bridal Consultants take great care and time ensuring your appointment is as efficient as possible by preselecting gowns based upon your pre-appointment interview.

Once you have booked your Appointment please complete your pre-appointment interview so our Bridal Consultant can be well prepared for your custom private appointment. During your Appointment you will be guided through a journey by our professional Bridal Consultant to find the Dress of your Dreams. If you elect to purchase a gown and take it home with you same day that is definitely an option. If we are ordering your gown from the designer your measurements will be taken to ensure your Dream Dress will fit properly.

If you have photos of the dress you have in mind or a general style that can be a good starting point. You may also complete a pre-appointment interview to share additional details about your Dream Dress vision.

Yes, we carry a beautiful and unique collection of Bridal Accessories created by artisan designers from around the world. Our Bridal Accessory collection includes gloves, crowns, veils, earrings, belts and more.

A maximum of 4 guests are permitted to attend in addition to the Bride.

If you have the shoes you plan to wear at your wedding we suggest bringing them or a similar style to your appointment so you can see how your dress will look with your selected style of shoes. We do suggest nude undergarments, shapewear is also helpful if you have some.

Our gowns start at $2500 and go up to $12,000. Our most common price range is $3500 to $6000. We are dedicated to offering unique, fashionable, premium gowns.

No, jo Leo Bridal does not offer alterations of any sort nor do we offer alteration advice. Any an all alterations desired to be performed on any gown will be at the sole discretion of the Bride.
